Visual Culture in Britain is an interdisciplinary Taylor & Francis journal examining visual culture in Britain, in historical and contemporary settings. It publishes three issues annually and welcomes articles, forum contributions, reviews and special issues.
Publisher information for authors
Article requirements
Research articles normally contain 6,000–8,000 words, excluding a 150–250-word abstract. Forum pieces: 2,000–4,000 words. Reviews: 800–2,000 words.
Peer review
Research articles undergo editorial screening and review by at least two anonymous referees. Forum contributions are normally assessed by the editors.
Access and fees
Hybrid open access through Open Select. The publisher states that the subscription route has no APC; optional open access may attract a charge, with institutional agreements potentially covering or reducing it.
