Part 1: estimate number of muons that should pass through detector in a specific time interval
Part 2: set up detector, oscilloscope, and pulse counter to count actual number of particles passing through detector (and compare to expectation)
Part 3: automate data collection to collect large data set for statistical analysis, take data on muon counts AND arrival time.
