ARPES and XAS/XMCD data for the manuscript “Orbital mixing and strong Hund’s coupling stabilize spin order in the van der Waals ferromagnet CrI3” by De Vita et al.
ARPES dataset
Four files (CrI3_ARPES_300K, CrI3_ARPES_150K, CrI3_ARPES_50K, and CrI3_ARPES_30K) are in .h5 format, following a preliminary binning and energy/momentum rescaling from raw momentum microscope data. The three axes represent the energy (E) and parallel components of the wavevector (kx, ky). File names represent the temperature at which the dataset was acquired. These datasets are used in Fig. 1, 2, and 4.
The fifth file (CrI3_ARPES_49eV) is in .txt format, exported from Igor Pro, and includes the correct binding energy and wavevector scaling. This is the measurement performed at a synchrotron with 49 eV photon energy at 300 K. This dataset is used in Fig. 2.
XAS/XMCD dataset
The two files (CrI3_XAS_90 K and CrI3_XAS_30K) are in .txt format, exported from Igor Pro. Within each file, column labels identify left- and right-circularly polarized TEY signals, and the corresponding energy. File names record the temperature at which the dataset was acquired. This dataset is used in Fig. 3.
