Roman clay lamp (lucerna) dated in the 2nd century BC, of unknown origin. Lamps fueled with olive oil and other vegetable oils were very common in the Roman world to provide artificial light. It is decorated with leaves, possibly an olive wreath or branch. The specimen presents 4,5 cm in height and 10,1 cm in long. It is currently preserved in the Frei Manuel do Cenáculo National Museum (Évora, Portugal). Catalog No. ME5038.
