This record contains the Supplementary Material accompanying the manuscript entitled “The 2026 USMCA/T-MEC review as a public-health issue: a scoping review of supply chains, access to health technologies, regulatory convergence, and innovation in North America,” prepared for submission to Salud Pública de México.
The supplementary document provides the methodological audit trail for a PRISMA-ScR-informed systematic scoping review with narrative and thematic synthesis. It includes the pre-specified research questions submitted to Elsevier LeapSpace Deep Research, the Boolean search strategies, the description of the evidence environment, eligibility criteria, data-extraction framework, thematic coding scheme, source-verification and reference-audit procedure, PRISMA-ScR correspondence checklist, flow-diagram data, artificial-intelligence use and reproducibility statement, and Zenodo deposit manifest.
The purpose of this supplementary material is to enhance transparency, reproducibility, and methodological traceability for the review. The evidence base combines an academic stream centered on Scopus/ScienceDirect through Elsevier LeapSpace Deep Research and a complementary official policy and regulatory document stream, including treaty, regulatory, and international-organization sources relevant to the 2026 USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA review and its potential implications for public health, medical supply chains, regulatory convergence, access to health technologies, and health-innovation capacity in Mexico and North America.
This material is intended to support peer review and enable readers to examine the search logic, evidence-selection process, coding framework, and use of AI-assisted research tools underlying the manuscript.
